Fort Myers American Little League
Each year FMALL provides a caring and competitive environment and place for
more than 500+ youth to play each year. Read below for more information.
Registration is OPEN
We have converted from pen and paper registration to online registration this season, so please be patience with us as we make the transition. Once we have fully converted over this will drastically enhance the parent/player experience and reduce the administrative work of the league volunteers which will give them more time to be there for your children.
Create an Account if You Are New to the League
When you begin the online pre-registration process, you will be asked to create an account with a username and password. Your username must be unique. We suggest that you use your email address as your username, because it is familiar to you. If you were in the League last year you will already have an account and can request a username and password if you have forgotten them.

How do you determine your Little League player’s age
The Little League age is the age a player has attained as of a specific date, for the purpose of placing the player in a particular division. The player’s Little League age is pre-determined by Little League and programmed into our website. Using the birthdate that you provide at time of registration, the player will be placed in the appropriate division according to that age. Remember, proof of age by showing an original birth certificate is required at walk-in registrations. Please use the chart below to determine your player’s Little League age. More information can by found by clicking HERE.

Little League Challenger Division
The Challenger Division was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League Baseball to enable boys and girls with physical and mental disabilities, ages 5-18 or the completion of high school, to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide.
Teams are set up according to abilities, rather than age, and can include as many as 15-20 players, who can participate in one of three levels: Tee-Ball, Coach-Pitch or Player Pitch.
Each player gets a chance at bat. The side is retired when the offense has batted through the roster, or when a pre-determined number of runs has been scored, or when three outs are recorded. Little League recommends that no score be kept during games. The Challenger players wear the same uniforms, shoulder patches and safety equipment as other Little League players.
One of the benefits of having a Challenger Division is that it encourages the use of “buddies” for the Challenger players. The buddies assist the Challenger players on the field but whenever possible, encourage the players to bat and make plays themselves. However, the buddy is always nearby to help when needed. For more information on the Little League Challenger Division, please download the full program pdf brochure or email challenger@LittleLeague.org.
Scholarships for players are available
Fort Myers American Little League wants every child to have a chance to play baseball or softball. If you have a financial hardship situation you may submit a request for financial assistance. Either full or partial scholarships are available. For scholarship information, contact Fort Myers American Little LeagueFinancial Aid Attendant at email@example.com.
No one is turned away for financial reasons. Payment plans, financial aid, and scholarships are available those players in need. To apply for a payment plan, financial aid, or scholarship during registration, choose the “Pay by Check” option. After you have registered your player, email a detailed request to the Financial Aid Attendant at firstname.lastname@example.org, for either a payment plan, financial aid, or scholarship. Please be specific about what you can afford to pay and why you can’t afford the total fee. Please know that the Financial Aid Attendant will keep all of the information you provide confidential. We have all had times where we have had to rely on the kindness of others and all of the volunteers here at this league want to be there for the children of our community.
